Zerg versus Protoss can be pretty overwhelming. Since watching any of the professional gamers play, gives off the indication that all units are viable. And that is true, for the most part. However not all units are the correct choice in all situations.
In this video of StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void I go over the decision making that I use when playing in Zerg versus Protoss. While every unit from the Corruptor to the Baneling has their place, it is crucial to use every unit with a certain thought in mind. There is no go-to strategy, as Zerg is meant to be played responsive.
Early game is usually dominated by Zerglings and Ravagers. Roaches also have their place if the opponent is playing heavy Adept or Zealot. After that stage of the game however it is viable to go Spire, Lurkers or a quick Hive. It all depends on what the Protoss is doing.
