Lucio is one of the support Heroes in Overwatch. He specializes in Area of Effect healing and speed boosting, allowing the team to get to objectives faster while also keeping them topped off in the amount of health that they got. In this video I play two games with Lucio in the Overwatch beta, while providing commentary and trying to explain the different kind of skills that Lucio has.
In the first game on Kings Row we are on the defending team. On the defending Lucio usually assists the team as a all-purpose healer that can occasionally use his ultimate to push the attackers away. On the second game, on Nepal, we have to secure the main objectives. Because of Lucio the team will get towards the objective faster than the opposing team, allowing us time to set up our defenses and uses the Ultimate at crucial moments to force them off of the capture point.
Lucio Correia dos Santos grew up in Rio de Janeiro, in a poor and crowded favela that was hit hard by the financial upheaval following the Omnic Crisis. As Brazil began the long process of recovery, he wanted to find a way to lift the spirits of those around him. He performed on street corners, in block parties, and as he got older, at a string of legendary underground shows. After becoming famous, Lucio now realizes that he can change the world for the better.
